Intention and Concept:
Flux Frame is an experimental project that explores analog film projection through the use of a custom acrylic frame. The unique frame is filled with a combination of three natural elements: air, water, and solids. Those elements are pumped in and out of the frame simultaneously, representing social energy in its raw, spontaneous form using analog methods, which brings a unique, organic quality to the visuals that digital simulations often cannot replicate. The unpredictability of the elements in the acrylic frames symbolizes the unfiltered, real-time dynamics of face-to-face interactions.
By creating a dynamic, ever-changing pattern that is projected in real-time, Flux Frame is not just a visual exploration but also a metaphorical dialogue on how analog and digital worlds shape, mirror, and influence our collective society. This approach not only emphasizes the beauty of natural processes but also offers a richer and more tactile sensory experience for the audience.
